this saturday. hbo. 9pm. no texts, calls, instagram posts, tweets, nothing! i will be watching the beyonce documentary special titled "life is but a dream", which she named after little blue ivy's favorite song, "row, row, row your boat".

we'll learn about her life as a child in houston, as an entertainer in destiny's child, as a woman, and as a mother. we'll see raw footage of performances and that baby bump that "never existed".

beyonce is a very private artist and i know this is something all of her fans are looking forward to.

"stay", featuring mikky ekko who also co-wrote the song, is one of my favorites off "unapologetic" simply because i think it's one of rihanna's better vocal performances.
love the girl, can't wait to see her live, but she ain't the best singer. on "stay" she does her thing.

got the announcement i wanted!

well getting 4 out of my 6 wishes from saturday's post granted aint bad, steelers are still the only team with 6 superbowl wins, and best of all king beyonce's world tour was officially announced (bad livenation...)!

the tour, titled The Mrs. Carter Show world tour,  will kick off in belgrade on april 15th and end in stockholm on may 29th for its european leg. it'll pick back up in LA at the staples center on june 28th and end in brooklyn on august 3rd. i'm going back to the barclay's center!!!

tour announcement tomorrow???

as a big football fan I'm of course excited for the superbowl. as a steelers fan though, I will cry for days if the ravens win, and i also don't want another team to have 6 championships cuz i'm a baby. SO. that being said, I'm honestly mostly looking forward to king beyonce performing.

this is what I want to happen:
- she comes out to one of her girl power jams to get all the ladies amped since they've had to sit back and be ignored by their boos and they're tired of it!
- few more beyonce hits...
- she brings out king jay z and sluts around on stage like she always does when he's around (I love when she does that)
- kelly and michelle come out and they shut it DOWN with "bills, bills, bills"!!! ahhhhhh man, i'll die. like literally die.
- few more DC hits...
- and finally she announces her world tour which I will absolutely 100% buy tickets for. maybe for more than 1 date

I've read "the davinci code" so I know how the illuminati works. they planned something big for tomorrow.

guilty pleasure?

i don't care what anyone says, "thrift shop" is fucking awesome.
every time it's on the radio i gotta blast it and do my best wanz voice to belt out the chorus. you know you like it too, it's so catchy!

macklemore, born as ben haggerty, is from seattle and started writing lyrics at 14. his first EP, titled "open your eyes" under the name professor macklemore, was distributed by macklemore himself a few years later in 2000.
not much happened for my favorite artist of the past couple weeks between 2005 and 2009 due to substance abuse problems, but in 2008 he cleaned up his act and teamed up with producer ryan lewis.
fast forward to 2012: macklemore appears in the source magazine as unsigned hype, on the cover of xxl magazine as part of the freshman class of 2012 (which everyone was very happy about *sarcasm*), and  "the heist" is dropped. the album includes songs previously released between 2010 and 2011 like "wing$" and "can't hold us down", and new song "thrift shop".

justin timberlake first released a video  2 weeks ago (1/10) letting fans know we would be getting some new music.... it just has to be perfect.
3 days later the first single off his 3rd studio album was released: "suit and tie" featuring king jay z. eeeeeeek!
finally, this week we got the lyric video and  photos released of JT and jay z on set of the actual full length music video, both below... when is it coming out?!?!?

 

I am sooooooo beyond excited for "the 20/20 experience" and can NOT wait for March 19th. "future sex / love sounds" was amazing and I know 20/20 will only be better.

chief keef in trouble...again...

sooooooo, chief keef was sentenced to 60 days last week for violating probation on a gun charge and he's in some heat again!

an unidentified girl, still in middle school (!), has filed a petition for child support in Chicago and claims to have been impregnated by mr. keef in 2011... oh boy... worth noting is that under Illinois law, it's illegal for 2 people under the age of 17 to have sex. if the girl's parents decide to press charges my favorite little teenage rapper (besides justn bieber) could go to jail for up to one year anddddd be required to register as a sex offendor for 10 years!

poor guy... oh well!
