whysowhite (lmfao) is a 7-piece funk band out of chicago that i came across thru someone else's tweets and i'm sure glad i did!
members are as follows:
- nick mcmillan aka "big nick": lead vocals
- charlie moonbeam aka "charlie moonbeam": vocals and keys
- davis haines aka "d-pop fantastic": vocals, congas, and apparently sex appeal?
- charlie dwyer aka "uncle funk": rhythm guitar
- chris miller aka "danger miller": lead guitar
- dave sumberg aka "custom sumberg": bass
- andrew abramowitz aka "brahmz": drums
the first song i heard was "the approach" and if you click that and listen you'll want to hear more. it kinda makes me wanna pour myself a glass of vino and nibble on some cubes of smelly cheese and seasoned crackers, right? snap my fingers too...
