who is outasight...

i never heard of this guy til roughly 7.4 seconds ago, but i like his song "tonight is the night" - kinda catchy...
anyways, some info:
  • he's a rapper from yonkers
  • real name: richard andrew
  • he's had several mixtapes out since 20007, but his debut album is set to be released in the coming year
  • started out performing in places like the nuyorican cafe
  • performed at a festival in '07 alongside acts like ghostface killah, skills, and consequence
  • was featured in XXL's "something to talk about" in '08
  • signed with warner bros. records in '09
  • collaborated with asher roth on the "catch me if you can" remix (off his "further" EP) in 2010
  • blah blah blah
i like this song better than "tonight is the night"...

last night he finally released the 3rd installment, echoes of silence, and i've been dying to get to a computer to download and listen.

this beat is the shit. feces...

the video for will.i.am.'s song "t.h.e. (the hardest ever)" was uploaded to vevo on monday and i heard j lo is lookin' all kinds of sexy and shit in it so duh i had to check it out (is that gay? idc).
the song ain't too bad either.

so will.i.am is upgrading forms of transportation throughout the video (this guy loves spaceships and wearing helmets, doesn't he?), j lo sings "go hard or go home" and wears a lacy thing (that's all you care about), and mick jagger shows off them moves adam levine was talking about... and he says "i'm going in" that was funny to me.
oh, and there are triangles in the video... go ahead, call it illuminati -__-

anyways, check it out here:

marry the FUCKING night...

so i've been posting about this video for ever and it was FINALLYYYYYY realeased last night!
the masterpiece of a mini documentary is 14 minutes long and is frikkin ART. sorry im biased because i'm obsessed... anyways, in an interview with E! gaga explained the video tells the story of when she was dropped from island def jam (fuck them!) and said "it was one of the worst days of my life..."

directed by mother monster herself: the video starts with her on a gurney delivering a mighty well-written voice over and (after the madness that is gaga) ends with her decked out in some out-of-this-world shit (as only she can be decked out) sorrounded by flames...
btw, "marry the night" doesn't actually start until like 9 minutes in.
you MUST watch, so....

my favorite parts?
  • "when i look back on my life it's not that i don't want to see things exactly as they happened, it's just that i prefer to remember them in an artistic way."
  • her dance studio outfit roughly 10 minutes in
  • the choreography, duh, s/o to richard jackson
  • the blue lipstick, but that doesn't mean i'm wearing it LoL
  • and this little part:
"interscope records. hollywood, ca. 4pm"
