support local artists...

so after posting that video you see down there like 3 posts ago (it's a beautiful world we live in) i figured i should post more videos and songs and links and blah blah blah of local artists i'm feelin' and shit...

more specifically artists who are friends of friends or have worked with a friend *cheesy smile*

ANYWAY, here we have an artist who has worked with my homie @Jahir_Vargas (links all over this bitch for the guy) and i finally got to hear a complete song of his this morning.

WHAT I THINK...
boy does this guy deliver. before i get into channel orange, i have to admit i didn't listen to ALL of nostalgia, ultra until i had channel orange in my hands.
i was obsessed with "we all try", i loved "love crimes", and "swim good" and "novacane" had radio play so of course i heard them. after hearing the whole mixtape tho, i was more excited to switch CDs and play channel orange...
1st run thru, "lost" was my absolute favorite. it took 3, 4, or 7 plays all the way thru for me to find something i wasn't exactly fond of... and that would be "pink matter". it upsets me, cuz boy do i love me some 3 stacks, but i just can't with that song.
back to the songs i DO like tho, the more i listened to the album leading up to his show at terminal 5, the more favorites i found. even the interludes are dope as sheeeeeet.
"sweet life", "crack rock", and "bad religion" tend to be on repeat when my computer is on, and "pyramids" became a favorite after i saw him perform it live.
the lyrical content and production is phenomenal. frank ocean just knows how to tell a story... this is an artist.
PLEASE buy a physical copy of this and listen. grab a glass of your favorite poison, throw some headphones on, and relaxxxxx. i don't see how you could be dissapointed.
